A wedding day is supposed to be all about the couple who is getting married. No one else has the right to steal the limelight away from you. It should be a special day for the couple. A bride shared her experience in the r/TrueOffMyChest community where she told Redditors how her parents ruined her wedding day by planning a surprise engagement for her sister on her wedding day. OP was hurt and tried compromising with her parents but they told her that they have spent a lot of money on the party. OP decided to elope a week before her wedding day. OP and her husband got married at their grandparents in law’s place. It was a dream wedding and some of OP’s friends, cousins and aunt attended their wedding.
