Many of us actually prefer people who are very honest, who don’t keep stuff in their hearts and say whatever they wish to say without caring about the place, the surroundings, or anything. It is a nice thing to not keep things inside because it can cause stress and lead to mental health issues and I encourage everyone to be as honest as they can and state their feelings whenever the time is right. Now, this factor of “when the time is right” is extremely important because being brutally honest can also mean you might end up saying something you shouldn’t have in a certain setting or a situation. Brutal honesty can often come across as something rude and uncomfortable if you use it as a weapon just to mess with others and can cause some issues.
Today’s story is about a brutally honest boyfriend who decided to pass an honest opinion about his girlfriend’s sister which made her really uncomfortable and she ended up being equally honest which poked the boyfriend in his ego.

I am sorry but who gave that person the right to speak to OP like that. I cannot believe someone can taunt another person for not having babies and I am pretty sure he knew the reason. Not only that, he went on to pass some very negative comments about her high probability of having abnormal babies at this age. I am so infuriated right now, such people do not deserve the respect OP’s sister kept giving him and I can bet she knew they were in the wrong but she was probably stuck in a dilemma of who to side with. OP’s sister must realize soon that her boyfriend is very toxic and this brutal honesty must not be appreciated or appraised because it is helping no one but his ego. Thank god OP stood up and put him into his place, perhaps that will teach him that he is not allowed to penetrate everyone’s personal life just because he thinks he can.
She was definitely NTA and had every right to say what she said after those disrespectful comments from the rude boyfriend.
