These cat bellies will make you smile.

I mean what is cuter than a cat belly? Nothing! However, you can’t even touch it or they will get agitated and may even attack you at times. While this doesn’t hold true for every cat, mos cats don’t like their bellies to be to be touched. The reason they show their bellies sometimes is actually a sign of trust. So they’re showing it because they know you won’t touch them and that is a way to show their affection towards you.

You see cats usually sleep with one eye open and are always half-conscious so they can keep a lookout over their surroundings. After all, they are predators and will not let anything pass them by. So when they are sleeping with their bellies up, it means they are in a deep sleep and don’t know what is happening around them. This can only be achieved when your kitty feels safe in its new home. Most cats have chubby bellies but that doesn’t mean they are overweight. Just as humans have a little gut so do cats and that just makes their bellies all the more adorable.
