30 Wholesome Photos Of Cat Dads & Their Kitties Bonding Together

Getting a pet has nothing to do with gender.

That is what I believe but many people would disagree with me. Apparently, most guys adopt dogs rather than cats because getting a cat is seen as an ’emotional’ decision. Or perhaps that the guy is too sensitive.

Now to me, all of this sounds like bullsh*t. It’s not like being sensitive is a bad thing. But hyper-masculinity just gets in the way. However, the good news is that most guys have started to ignore this backward thinking and decided to do what their heart desires. Which is to get a cat.

That is why today we are celebrating these ‘cat dads’.

This was impacting Cliff’s ability to get work done so we had to fashion a kitten sling so that Simon could get his snuggles in and cliff could work.

This is what a cat dad expert (yes those exist) had to say about his love for cats and how it started.

I’ve always liked cats. We had them all the time when I was growing up, but my love for cats got serious when I moved to Florida in 2008 to work at a big cat sanctuary (lions and tigers)

I really started to appreciate how great they were working around big cats and I also had a resident sanctuary cat that lived with me in my trailer on the grounds.

Domestic cats are just like their wild cousins, just mini versions that can’t kill you…. I don’t think anyway?!

My dad’s rescue cat wasn’t properly weaned and was very neglected. The only way he will drink water is if my dad holds a cup. He does this multiple times per day

Cat dad Chris had, even more, to say about why many people prefer cats over dogs. At the end of the day, it’s your choice.

I like dogs too don’t get me wrong, but I’m definitely a cat guy. Dogs bark and a lot of the time are begging for attention and they need walking everyday.

Cats are easier to care for and have their own strong personalities just like dogs, they can also be super affectionate, but that the same time they are very independent and like doing their own thing. It really is like living with mini tigers, house flies don’t stand a chance in this home!

They always keep us entertained and kitty therapy is my favorite, just laying on the couch watching movies with a purring cats, it’s the purrfect stress relief.
