Who wouldn’t want to be disneyfied?
If you don’t know what Disneyfication means then you have a huge surprise coming for you. It basically means to draw something in the style of old and new Disney alike. You may have noticed that Disney’s art style is quite unique and different from other animated movies. And while it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, you can’t deny it’s adorable when applied to animals.
And that is exactly what one artist did. Everyone has a happy and apparently the illustrator named Isa Bredt likes to turn people’s sets into disneyfied versions. Yes, it is just as adorable as it sounds. She is a 22-year-old artist and she does this in her amazing project simply called Pet Disneyfication.
So scroll on below to take a look at some of her best work.
#1 The ear may be gone but she is still adorable.
#2 Just take a look at that content face!
This is what Isa had to say about why she started her project.
Pet disneyfications is something I did very sporadically in my free time for about 5 years. I started because I was and still am a big fan of both drawing animals and the old Disney style.
I am just a very big fan of Disney. The Lion King is my all time favorite movie, I used to watch it daily as a child. I adore the old animal movies; Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, the Aristocats.
#3 Just a butler cat.
#4 I can already see it, The piggy and the kitty.
#5 This one looks quite snug.
This is how Isa started.
There was a subreddit where you could offer free art to people. I wanted to practice the Disney style, so I offered free drawings for people who would send me pictures of their pets.
#6 The color of the eyes should have been different.
#7 Is this one a vampire? I can’t tell.
#8 Everything is perfect in this adorable image.
#9 The doggo still looks as happy as can be.
#10 The grumpy cat is not happy.
Either this kitty is angry because she had her picture taken or she is always grumpy. With cats, you can’t really tell. What I can say is that this cat looks like one of the villains in every Disney animals centered movies ever.
#11 The ears look absolutely adorable.
#12 The photographer of this picture deserves props.
#13 Everything will be okay soon.
#14 Two of the best buddies I’ve ever seen.
#15 When a science experiment goes right.
#16 Just a tiny little baby here.
#17 She looks like she has been caught red-handed.
#18 Taken moments before tragedy struck.
#19 This is too wholesome for my heart.
#20 Smell the rainbow.
It is clear from all of her illustrations, she doesn’t care about the background as much as the main centerpiece which is the pets. And I certainly appreciate that. It brings much more focus to the pets when she leaves the background quite abstract.
#21 Won’t she show us her face?
#22 Is that the great-grandchild of Simba?
#23 Taking a little afternoon nap.
#24 And this one is a great great great grandchild of Lady.
#25 Even the bolts and the wheels are perfect.
#26 He might be a bit crooked but he is still derpy.
#27 What does the fox say?
#28 When your kitty breaks and you need to reset her.
#29 Is he asking for food?
#30 To end it, we have an angelic kitty with us.
