Cats are social creatures.
I know many of us like to think that cats like to be alone but that is not true. Most if not all cats like having humans around them and will play and cuddle with you if they are in the mood. The hardest part is not overstepping your boundaries and making the cat feel uncomfortable. After all, you want your cat to keep coming back to you. And that will not happen if you try to force your cuddles on a cat.
However, the following cats are different. How are they different you may ask? Well, rather than scurrying away at the first sight of anyone unknown to them, they actually seek out other human beings, preferable their neighbours. And they’re only too happy to break into their house and eat their food if that is what it takes. This behaviour doesn’t mean the cat isn’t getting enough attention in their own home however as all cats usually do this.

This is my neighbour’s cat. He meowed at the front door until I let him in, then he ran inside, took a huge dump in MY cat’s litter tray, and then ran straight out. Absolute power move.

My husband laid down on our patio after our walk. This little dude just made himself at home. Not our cat. Sure is a sweetie, though!

This guy was guarding against porch pirates, and then demanded a treat for doing a good job.

Came out of my room this afternoon to find a visitor roaming the house. This is, in fact, not my cat.
Cats are curious by nature and there is not much we can do to stop that. And no one wants to do that anyway. After all, half the fun of having a cat is getting to play with them and watching as they curiously touch and try to eat everything.

Heartbroken I couldn’t bring my cat with me to England. First day there, this guy lets himself into my house.

Took the dog for a walk and as we were passing a forest, this nmc approached us, flopped herself on the ground, and demanded scritches.

Every time I step outside to enjoy my coffee this little beauty comes to hang out. Not my cat but definitely my buddy.

I call him Prince Harry. Don’t know if he has an owner. He likes to come to visit at night and grab a snack. We had a breakthrough last night.

Got up to pee and thought I was hallucinating. I live on the third floor and there are no balconies, just windows and the roof.

I went for a walk and came back to this handsome boy cleaning himself on my front stoop. He meowed politely when I opened the door and went back to his cleaning.

He just wandered into my apartment like it was his place and decided to take a nap on my bed.
