Genetics can be quite interesting.
Now I am not a geneticist so I am only going to talk about the surface level stuff here but it is always interesting when we see kids who look nothing like their parents. I mean did you know that there are even conditions where your kid could have a different skin color than both the parents and their relatives. There are so many things that we don’t yet fully understand when it comes to genetics but we as humans should always be willing to learn.
After all, don’t we all start comparing kids to their parents when we first see them? We ofcourse don’t usually do this unintentionally but the world is ripe with people who are always saying things like ‘Your kid looks nothing like you!’ or ‘Your daughter is the exact clone of your wife.’ In reality, however, this couldn’t be further from the truth. I am not saying that kids don’t look like their parents but this isn’t always the case and following celebrities and their kids are a prime example of this.
#1 This is Eliot Sumner, the daughter of Sting.
#2 Now, we have Tallulah Willis, the daughter of Demi Moore.
#3 This is Brandon Thomas Lee, Son of the infamous Pamela Anderson.
#4 Right here we have Blake Perlman, the daughter of Ron Perlman.
#5 We also have Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis.
#6 We can’t forget about Robert De Niro and his son Elliot De Niro.
#7 This is Chaz Bono with his mother Cher.
Most people want their kids to look exactly like them. After all, that is a human need but this isn’t always the case. most of the time, the kids end up looking like their grandparents or distant relatives. I am not saying that kids cannot look exactly like their parents but it is quite rare. One of the most interesting facts is that usually one-year-old kids look like their fathers. Scientists hypothesize that this is nature’s way of letting the Father bond with their child since the mother already has a close bond with them.
I am sure you have seen parents talking about how their kids look exactly like them when you don’t see any resemblance, it is usually just wishful thinking on the parent’s part but at the end of the day, it is understandable.

#15 Last but not least, we have Pierce Brosnan and his son, Dylan Brosnan.
