12 Dark Coloring Book Corruptions That It’ll Ruin Your Childhood

We all used to be obsessed with our coloring books when we were little. This was far before the internet hit our world like a Tsunami. This was far before the age of memes. While the kids of today’s age are obsessed with the internet, we oldies were obsessed with different stuff like coloring books. Only a few people had internet, but it was not that big of an entertainment. People preferred VCRs and Walkman over the Internet every day. This probably sounds completely crazy to the Gen z’s these days. They cannot imagine a life without the internet and apps.

We used to urge our parents to buy us coloring books. After so many years later, some very imaginative artists decided to dig into our childhood and buy those coloring books. Don’t keep your hopes high though. They did not get those coloring books to paint the pictures in pretty colors. Instead, they turned our childhood cartoons into something creepier, horror twisted. They colored our favorite cartoons with such vicious tones that they are hardly recognizable.

Scroll down and check these out!

1. Simba is in his zone!

This is not the image we have in our mind whenever we think of Simba and the Lion king. Simba looks like he has not showered in ages! It is really funny seeing him with headphones and listening to songs.

This is probably the best visual representation of what a person experiences when they consume LSD. Your surrounding is filled with fantasy characters and colorful details. This artist is surely very creative.

I do not know what these artists are up to, but this is for certain that they want all of us to cry. Who even thinks of making coloring goofy’s character this dark?

Wow, we never thought Pooh could have so much rage and violent tendencies in him. Pooh used to be this pure character that only wanted good for everyone. He never caused harm to anyone and his presence would be a delight to every person! Considering that, it is hard seeing Pooh with bloodstains on him.

7. Blood stains!

Elmo never had this much blood on his hands! I am really curious about what goes inside the head of this artist. How could he possibly combine blood and Elmo together? I would probably have nightmares of Elmo creeping up at night.

8. Evil mouses!

Those eyebrows just made Micky and Minnie’s mouse appear so different. It looks like they had been planning the ruin of Disney world for so long and they have finally achieved their goal.

Wherever Pluto is, I hope he never comes anywhere near I live.

12. Ariel is in trouble

At this point, I really want to have a conversation with the creators of these drawings and ask them why they want our favorite characters to be punished? What have these characters done to them that they are making them suffer? Our adorable ariel is in trouble and all I want to do is jump into the screen and save her!

These images really scared me to my core. Some of them completely shattered the pretty bubble I had in mind of Disney characters. It is all tainted with bloodstains, evil intentions, and pure violence. The characters that we once adored and were full of joyful energy, are not the reason for all the evil that exists in the world. Regardless of the horror that has been spread because of them, one cannot ignore that the imagination of these artists is vast! However, I hope they make things are less dark than these.

Which image scared you the most? It was the one with Winnie the Pooh for me. Let us know in the comments section below.
