We are back with some spicy and hilarious dark comic series Chez Cuckoo by 53-year-old Norwegian artist Torbjørn Lien. Torbjorn has been publishing his own comics since his school life. He belongs to Mosjøen, Nordland. The man is most known for his comic “Kollektivet,” which he launched 20 years ago.
Torbjørn has been lucky enough to witness his 20 years of work being translated into English so that readers from around the globe can enjoy his work. As a cartoonist, it’s a tremendous achievement for a cartoonist tbh. He has also contributed to the groundbreaking Norwegian Role Playing Game “Imperium 3000.” We’ve gathered over 30 of his most recent comics for our audience to enjoy. The main character of Chez Cuckoo comics appears in funny and often problematic situations, either trying to cope with things in an innovative way or simply accepting them as they are. Torbjørn has a unique sense of balance when it comes to dark comedy. He understands how far a reader can be pushed while still amusing everyone. Actually, most of these scenarios are not only entertaining, but also relatable. A troubled sex life, parenting issues, puberty issues, these are all challenges that practically everyone faces. Torbjørn, on the other hand, is a master at using dark comedy to depict these situations.
