A lot of animals are abandoned every year. Since the pandemic, numbers of abandoned pets are increasing rapidly. With many pet parents are dying in the pandemic there has been increase in pet abandonment. This is happening because owners are dying or there is no one to take care of them. These are the main big reasons that people are abandoning their animals. But not every story has a sad ending. Today we are here with a heartwarming story which surprisingly ended being a happy story. Ashton Hart received the news that his grandfather had been passed away from being positive for COVID-19. Ashton Hart was in great agony after hearing this news but he was also tensed about the dog his grandfather left behind. Ashton went with his husband to collect the dog as they reached at Ashton’s grandfather house they saw a obese dog who was put to sleep because that poor dog had soo many health issues. Luckily Ashton and his husband decided to adopt the dog, who is now named as Oat Milk Latte. “Oat Milk is a very sweet dog,” Ashton said. “He has the most gentle temperament I’ve ever seen. When we took him to the groomer for the first time, they raved about how gentle and kind he was, and everyone who meets him falls in love with him.”
“I don’t know how he got to be that way; my grandparents were abusive with their animals,” Ashton said. “Sometimes you just get lucky and get a sweet soul, I suppose.” Take a look at this beautiful doggo.

“He isn’t the only pet we have, we also have a 3-legged tortie cat named Yakisoba, two rats (Biggie and Smalls), and a hamster named Pumpkin!” Ashton said. Ashton’s husband was planning to have a dog for a while. When they had to pick up Oat Milk they didn’t know anything about him but this generous couple was fully prepared to take care of him and give him a new home.

Oat Milk has been through a lot of trauma but he still manages to be a good and bright boy. His parents say that after coming home from a long day his smile just greets them. He is the sweetest dog with zero aggression in him. Honestly, it’s been a godsend. We live in poverty, and we live paycheck to paycheck (and even then we aren’t making ends meet),” Ashton said. There was a lot of generous people who helped Oat Milk in his medical needs and sent gift to him through Amazon. Oat Milk is now living a happy life and he is in good health.
