Police Station Accepts Cat Supplies As The Parking Fee And Helps In Finding Home For Cats

Your donations can help someone find a home they have been longing for.

Have you ever heard of donating cat supplies in lieu of your parking ticket fee? How cool does this sound, right? Only a genius can come up with such an idea. A shelter in Indiana started to overrun by cats and kittens so the Muncie Animal Care & Services and the Muncie Police Department decided to join hands for a noble cause. Usually, NGOs offer financial help to such shelters but it is unusual to see a police department coming up with such an amazing idea. They took this great initiative and announced that people could either pay for the cat supplies or get them the cat supplies instead of paying the parking ticket fee. Anyone who wanted to volunteer could either drop off the donations or call the police to come and collect the cat supplies from their homes. Scroll down to see what happened next.
