Let’s just say that human decency is not so common in humans.
When it comes to tipping waiters and waitresses, the Internet can become divided. This is also because tipping is a very big thing in the US, but in most other countries, it is completely optional and sometimes even offensive. The thing is, the system is a total fail. Why do employers pay so little to their employees that they have to depend on tips and donations from customers to make a living? And that too, while working full time. Most servers work at a minimum wage and sometimes even less. This is clearly not enough to take care of one’s living expenses. Now, knowing how bad the system is, if you have the money to eat out at a restaurant and you can pay $500 for food, you can also afford to pay the server a little tip. It is only a decent thing to do.
However, some people just do not understand that and make the server’s life more difficult than it needs to be. If you do not understand what I am saying, scroll down below to see some entitled people who do not have the manners to eat at restaurants.

At the restaurant where I work waiters have to pay 2% of our sales which goes to the kitchen and bar staff and bussers. Today all my tables were really shitty and not tipping so my tips came to less than 2% of my sales, meaning I literally had to pay to work there today.
This is definitely late-stage capitalism.

My friend waited on two underage kids who tried to order drinks. Stiffing servers has always made someone a bad person, but during a pandemic when benefits have run out and restaurant employees are struggling more than they already did? Despicable.
Their friend just saved themselves a $1200 fine, their job and their employer’s liquor license.
Idk if it’s more infuriating that she did this, or that she feels the need to.

People that complain about too much alcohol in their drinks at restaurants or bars should just drink at home.
So this happened tonight. The group of dudes who placed the order thought it was hilarious, but me driving to our delivery border (10 min each way) was much less amused.
The pizza delivery driver got tipped with a baggy of coins containing loose tobacco.
