After all, not everyone makes a good parent in the first place. I’m sure we’ve all seen people who want children because they believe it will be easy and don’t realize it’s not a fantasy. That is why many children have less-than-ideal parents who have no idea what they are doing.

Consider the protagonist of this particular story. He has stated unequivocally that he does not want a child. And I must say, there is nothing wrong with it. However, this is why we need to teach teenagers about safety; otherwise, they will end up in these kinds of complicated situations and will be unaware of what awaits them for the rest of their lives. The poster of this story was not prepared for a child, and instead of stepping up to the plate, he refuses to have anything to do with a child. His ex-girlfriend, on the other hand, desired the child, and thus they found themselves in this situation. I’m not sure if she lied or not because I’m aware that the pill can fail occasionally, though this is uncommon. That is why it is critical to be as safe as possible. However, many teenagers throw caution to the wind and believe they know better. This is how these two ended up having a child. I’m not saying the girl won’t be a good mother, but the child isn’t off to a good start, especially since his father is doing everything he can to keep himself as far away from the child as possible.

While it is the OP’s right to do whatever he wants, he must recognize that the legal system does not work this way, and if she so desires, she can put him on child support. Yes, even signing away his rights does not absolve him of responsibility. I can only hope he realizes what is going on.
