Why do Karens always mistake someone for an employee?
Don’t get me wrong, I understand that it is a mistake that everyone has made at least once in their life but the response or the ensuing conversation is usually a lot different. Usually, whenever a person makes a mistake such as this, they will quickly apologize and move on or rather they will be too embarrassed to say anything let alone pile on even more. However, it seems piling on is the go-to response from all the Karens around the world.
This is one such story that involves a Karen. Now just to be clear, we have read a lot of Karen stories and people serving these people with the same medicine but the authenticity of these stories is not usually called into action. However, that is exactly what has happened with this particular scenario. It seems a lot of people think this story is fake but we are not here to judge whether it is true or false as a lot of people have loved this story more than the people who called it into question.

This story starts off with a guy who wanted to have a quiet dinner at a restaurant.
Things were going well for him until a Karen and her family showed up.
It was clear right from the start that this wasn’t going to go well and she mistook him for a manager.
Now he tried to rectify the mistake but she wasn’t listening to him anyway so he employed another tactic.
Even her kids tried to stop her but she continued with her tirade.
Even after everyone was seated, she still went up to him to ‘put him in his place’.
As you can imagine, that didn’t go well and she was flabbergasted.
In the end, even she couldn’t hold in a smile at the absurdity of it all.
To be honest, it does seem highly unlikely that this happened exactly the way he has described it. The story seems way too detailed and yet even I tend to add flourishes to real experiences in my life when I tell them so I can’t say for sure. We also know that there are actually Karens who act exactly like this in real life as many have come across. However, the thing that causes me some disbelief is that she didn’t recognize that he was just playing her sooner. But she could have just been that dumb. Although, people in the comments have a lot to say about it.

Some people even gave reasons as to why they can’t believe this ever happened.
I have never watched Princess Bride but it seems a lot of people love it.
Who knew so many people sued similar lines?
It is clear that this story didn’t resonate with everyone.
He might have left that part out because of obvious reasons.
He probably should have but he didn’t.
It was something at least, not sure if I would call it fun.
