However in Reddit user u/DraculaUnited‘s case, his consent was thrown out of the window like it carried zero importance. OP’s father had a girlfriend of four years who he had plans to marry and make OP and his siblings stepmother.

When OP’s father and his girlfriend finally decided to get married, the girlfriend had plans to have a big celebration. But the issue here was that she or her husband didn’t have enough money to do it. Instead of lowering the scale of the celebration, the girlfriend decided to approach OP and his two siblings for finances to make the big wedding happen. OP’s sister decided to pool in while he and his brother refused to give any money.

OP’s refusal made his soon-to-be stepmother really angry and the two had an argument. After a few days of having no interaction with his father’s girlfriend, one day suddenly OP paid her the money she required. It’s just that the money didn’t go to his “stepmother” with his consent. I actually cannot believe this. Oh my god, this is theft. Unfortunately, it cannot be reported because OP’s father was involved and he had full access to the account. But taking money out of OP’s account without his consent is a moral crime and I don’t think OP will ever forgive this woman for that. Their relationship was already on the ropes and this event just worsened it beyond repair. My goodness, just check out her entitlement. She is not yet part of the family and look at the things she is doing. I am so angry.
