Is there a reasoning behind the actions of animals?
I know there is nothing called survival instinct and we all have that, even humans but that is not the reasoning behind why we all do things. I mean, survival instinct might have been the reason in the far past but that is long gone and humans have other motivations for doing things now. However, what motivation could an animal have? Isn’t their whole persona about reproducing, protecting themselves and their young? Well, if we go by that logic then these pictures are outliers.
And not just that but this isn’t true for many species out there, especially the ones that we have domesticated. I mean there are so many times that your dog will protect you from harm even though your doggo gets nothing in return and might even get hurt. Is it just because some animals are good? Well, that might be it but the reason might also be loyalty. It is because we treat them well, so they do the same for us. And yes cats are included as well.
However, today is not all about cats and dogs, we have pictures with monkeys and zebras. So if you are ready to warm your heart, scroll below to take a look for yourself.
#1 Yes, the orangutan is playing hide and seek with the otter.
In a Belgian zoo, the otters and primates live together. They’re friends and the baby orangutan plays hide and seek with the otters.
#2 This is honestly a beautiful way to connect with the zebra.
This baby zebra ran away from lions and hid among sheep. Now the man is her mommy. The newborn zebras memorize the colors of their parents so he has to wear this coat.
#3 Why is this woman hugging the walrus? Because the walrus is sad about losing his family.
#4 When you first get a kitten.
#5 Proposing to your partner with the help of a cat is bound to be a Yes in the end.
#6 When you work from home but your dog still gets employee of the month.
#7 The fawn is hiding behind this deer and his actual mother came soon after.
#8 When your new puppy wants attention and won’t let you read.
All of these animals deserve a treat or a few good pets on their nose. They not only make us happy with their adorableness but the interpersonal relationships between animal species are also quite beautiful as well. I mean, who would have thought that an orangutan would befriend an otter and play with him? Life really is surprising.
#9 The transformation really is amazing.
These pictures of our cat Drax were taken 4 months apart. When we got him from the animal shelter, his back half had practically no fur and he weighed just 4.5 lb. He’s really fluffed out!
#10 These adorable seals were rescued from the Saint Petersburg river.
#11 This is just truly heartwarming.
People made a live corridor to help the newborn sea turtles reach the water and avoid being eaten by seagulls.
#12 That look that she is giving us is something else.
The inhabitants of Kamchatka found a 6-month-old bear on the side of the road. Now she lives in a center for animals and weighs 440 lb. She is a star on social media!
#13 I wonder how their grandparents aren’t afraid of the Goose.
This is a Canadian goose named Dorthy. She visits my grandparents’ house every year to make her nest and lay her eggs.
#14 When you try to hide the stash of food while on diet.
#15 This is honestly too adorable for words and I am sure they will be great friends.
#16 This kitty apparently likes being held like this which I totally understand.
#17 This story is something else so enjoy.
His name is Pixi and it looks like he lives in 2 houses. We call him Huarache, he has 2 homes. Congratulations! Other parents of the cat. I think that Pixi is very lucky. Some cats don’t have even one home, let alone 2. I know that his other owners are decent people because they take good care of him.
