We all love and hate dad jokes.
Whenever our dads crack a dad joke, we face-palm first and then end up laughing anyway. Most of us look up to our dads as we grow up. Whenever there is a problem that comes across us, anything that is not working in the house, or our car is creating problems, our first instinct is to call dad. Who else would know the solutions to these problems? I guess most of us grew up this way so all the problems we had to face were basically problems that our dads had to face too.
Fatherhood is not easy. You spend half your life as a free person, doing whatever you want, whenever you want. No responsibilities. Not a lot of problems. And then one day you are married and have a child and life just gets a little more complicated after that. However, fatherhood can be fun too. When you grow up to become a father, you will know what it is like to have the natural instinct of wanting to protect and love someone. Dads can go to any lengths to protect their children and if they give us unconditional love, it is the purest kind of love anyone can experience. Of course, moms love their kids too but dads do not even get half the appreciation moms to do. So you can think this post is a dad-appreciation post for all the dads out there whose efforts go unnoticed but they still keep at it. Don’t stop here yet. We are only halfway through the tweets.
