The husband defends his actions by asserting that he’s not responsible for the laptop being broken and that his wife should contribute to the cost of the replacement. OP’s wife is a stay-at-home mom she takes good care of the kids and maintains the home OP on the other hand has agreed to do a fair portion of the housework and all of the yardwork moreover, she has full access to their accounts except for OP’s personal spending account and he puts the same amount into her account and only she can withdraw it.
2. OP has a home office where he does not work from home it’s just a place where he can go sit and catch up on anything and he often plays video games in that space her wife also has a room dedicated to her and her hobbies

OP has asked her multiple times to leave his room alone because he always cleans it himself and even takes dishes to the kitchen and washes them moreover, when OP’s wife joins him in his office for video games he cleans it up afterward. According to him, there’s no reason for her to do anything in there when he’s not around.
4. One day OP’s wife decided to go clean his office and maybe she needed to move his laptop so she closed it
5. When OP came home she told him what happened and the screen was not working at all he checked it would cost him about $250 for repair so he decided to replace the laptop with the old one for the kids
6. The cost to replace his laptop was about $600 due to Black Friday so he took $350 from his account and took about 250 dollars from her account which he was going to deposit and got a new laptop
