Lazy And Entitled Sibling Fully Depends On Sister, Even Assumed She Would Take Her Kids To School

Didnt Take Kids School

If you have siblings and some honor in you, you must never be a burden on your biological partner. It doesn’t feel good. Once they achieve independence, even if they want to do a lot for you, in your heart you should never bring about a situation when you rely entirely on them, so much so hat they start feeling a burden.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened in today’s story. Reddit user u/Wonderful-Ad-7801 shared that she has a sister who has two kids. One time her sister was going through terrible times so OP and her husband decided to take her in. However, for ten long months, not once did she look for work or help out with the rent. She was a complete burden but OP said nothing until finally she started working but ignored her responsibility as a mother.

One time OP noticed her sister had left for work but didn’t drop her kids off at school She assumed OP would do that for her. OP got really angry and confronted her sister which ultimately resulted in her being called a selfish woman for considering her sister a burden on her.

Troubled, OP took the matter to the courts of the subreddit “Am I The A$$hole?” to know if confronting her sister for not catering to her kids made her wrong or not.

So OP gave her sister a spot in her house. She was so courteous that she didn’t say a thing to her and bared all her expenses for 10 months until finally some sense found its way into her brain and she started working a job. But when she started working, she completely gave off on her responsibilities as her mother. What did the sister assume? That OP would take her kids to school and bring them home? That is entitlement on another level. OP needs to kick this woman out because this is enough now.

17. Would I be wrong to say OP dealt with this situation terribly? Her sister should have been kicked out way before the 10-month mark.
