Parenting isn’t an exact science.
I am well aware that this might anger some people but I think not everyone should have kids. It isn’t as if our population is declining and that everyone needs to have a kid for that reason. Some people are just not right for taking care of a child. While I won’t put all the blame on the parent as sometimes the only way they know how to teach their kid is by ab*sing them because that is how they were taught as kids but they should get help.
There is no shame in admitting that you aren’t a great parent and getting therapy. This would actually make your kid respect you much more if you admit your wrongdoing and try to do better. I mean our parents are humans as well so it is okay to make mistakes. However, some of these parents have taken ‘keeping an eye on children to a very creepy level. I understand being cautious when it comes to your children but not giving them any sort of privacy is just wrong and it will only hurt your relationship in the long run.

I will preface this by saying that I am in no way saying I know anything about psychology but there is something wrong mentally with some of these parents. There is being a bad parent and then there is calling your child every 15 minutes and tracking their every move. I understand that most parents want to keep their children safe but the only thing they’re doing with this sort of behavior is pushing away their child in the long run.
