A house should never be black.
That is what most people say since black can actually trap heat and it is the sort of colour that makes things look smaller. And while that is good when it comes to clothes, it does not have a good effect when it comes to houses. I mean, who wants a room that looks smaller than it is? And that is why people throughout history don’t use darker colours in their mansions and such.
However, modern architects have found a way to use black and grey and still make the house look open. And the way they usually do this is by keeping the floor and walls lighter while filling the rooms with black furniture. It not only makes the house look clean and cosy but it also looks quite modern. And that is exactly what Reza Mohtashami likes to do.
The granite bath does wonders for the bathroom.
The skylight is exactly what this house needs.
Reza Mohtashami was born in 1989 in Mashhad, Iran. After graduating from high school in 2005, he entered the Faculty of Architecture and received a masters degree in architecture in the year. Reza Mohtashami was designing in several architectural offices until he was able to create his own architectural office in 2018.

The black painted house against a green forest is what makes this so unique.
And let us not forget about the wood flooring that is exquisite.
There is a lot of space and not much furniture strewn together.
This helps make the house look even with the black paint.
While this is only a conceptual design of a house, any person would be lucky to live in this place.
If I had the money, I would definitely hire this architect to build me a house.
The idea behind this house is simplicity while also bringing in different shades of black and grey. Even if your favourite colour is black, most people don’t prefer their house to have black furniture or black paint. But Reza has managed to bring all those naysayers together by creating this beautiful concept. Now we just have to wait until someone is brave enough to make this house a reality.

The lucky owner of this house would also get to have a gorgeous fireplace in their bedroom.
Honestly, this house has everything, if only it was real.
