The relationship between a mother and her child has been credited to be the purest of relationships. Many refer to it as an unbreakable bond. A mother can never think against the good interest of a child she gave birth to. But what if I tell you this is not always the case? You may think that yes, in step-relations this could be an exception but no. I am talking about a biological literally paying zero attention to her son.
In today’s story, Reddit user u/ElectricalPlum6281 shared his sad story with the internet. He told the world how terribly his mother treated him all his life and always gave priority to his brother. His health deteriorated so badly because of all the terrible things he had to go through.
One time when OP signed up for a summer college program, his mother made all the efforts to sabotage it. However, OP still managed to get on the program thanks to the help he got from his grandparents. The support from his grandparents opened a new gate for OP, he decided to live with his grandparents permanently who were happy to take good care of him.

6. OP decided to get a mini fridge and put a lock on it to make sure his food wouldn’t get stolen but that didn’t work either. His door was removed entirely and his mom yelled at him for keeping food away from the rest of them.
7. For a few months after that, OP managed to eat some good food and got to good weight and health. This allowed him to get into a summer college program.
8. The whole thing was covered by the college. When OP gave the news to his mom, she immediately refused and rejected the whole plan.
9. OP still enrolled in the program thanks to his grandparents who gave him $500 to do so.
10. But because OP was not 18 yet, the college emailed his mother for confirmation. Luckily, OP found a way around it and emailed the confirmation himself from his mother’s email account without her noticing.
Seriously, what is wrong with this mom? She always supported OP’s brother in every argument and now that OP was going to leave for the college program, she argued he couldn’t leave her alone with his brother. That is because she knows the brother has always been in the wrong.
I am glad OP managed to send the confirmation email to the college from his mother’s account without her noticing it. I would suggest OP go to the college program, and then never return. Just find a new place to live, start a new life, trust me this is the only way forward.

11. With just one week left before OP left, his mom found out about the way OP sent his confirmation. She contacted the college and informed them she didn’t authorize any confirmation.
12. Once OP turned 18, he explained his whole situation to the college and they allowed him to continue with the program.
So this is why OP mentioned his mom had broken his computer.
13. OP called her grandma who came to pick OP up along with her stuff. The mom got extremely angry accusing OP of leaving her behind with her other son.
14. For the injury that OP’s mother had caused him one time, his grandparents asked if he wanted to press charges against his mother.
15. OP just wanted to stay away from his mother so he started living with his grandparents.
16. He began feeling really good at his grandparents’ house as they would feed him well. He finally started having a great time.
