Nightmarish Roommate Gets His Comeuppance After He Kicks Out Redditor’s Cat

Living with other people can be a nightmare.

It’s no wonder that there are so many stories about nightmarish roommates who don’t clean, always make a mess, and steal your things. Personally, I have never lived with a roommate, and after reading hundreds of these sorts of stories, I don’t think I would want to either. After all, having another person in the space you call home can be difficult for a lot of people, and it is only made worse if they don’t respect boundaries and are always trying to one-up you. While most of the time, it is unintentional or they don’t care about how you perceive them, this particular story is a bit different.

In this story, the roommate is being intentionally difficult. Apparently, he had an argument with the poster of this story and their partner. Rather than solving the issue like adults, he decided to be passive-aggressive and give them the silent treatment. Anyone would be fine with the silent treatment if he also didn’t do every disgusting thing he could think of. There are quite a few things he did, but the event that stands out is that he basically kicked the cat, and the kitty was lost for nine whole days. If anyone did that to my cat, I would be livid. So, the OP decided to get some revenge as well.

But first, we need to understand why this all started.

Apparently, they had an argument with the roommate.

And this set him off.

After this, he did everything possible to inconvenience them.

He took it to a whole new level.

How disgusting one has to be to do this sort of thing.

So OP decided to do something about him.

After all, he deserved some comeuppance.

And he definitely got it.

I am honestly appalled by how the roommate acted. I mean, who uses someone else’s loofah? That is quite disgusting, and I would never do that. Not only that, it is quite clear that he was not a very tidy person at all. I can understand getting annoyed with your roommate, but this isn’t how adults act. The best way to solve any problem is to communicate. After all, this sort of passive-aggressiveness doesn’t fix anything and only causes more problems. It would have been best if he had been kicked out as soon as possible, but apparently, that wasn’t possible.

Kicking him out would have been ideal.

But according to OP that wasn’t possible.

That is the event that upsets me the most as well.

Though I am glad they ended up finding the cat.
