Animals can always make us laugh.
Whether they are just being their usual chaotic self or asking for treats while doing the most adorable gestures, there is nothing stopping them from making use of their adorable nature and we just become putty in their little paws. I am sure we have had moments in our lives where we couldn’t stop laughing and needed up on the ground because our pet did something silly. After all, animals are more intelligent than we give them credit for.
And if they realize that their hooman is sad, they will try their best to make you feel better. And that is where this particular competition comes in. The competition is known as Comedy Pets and as you can tell by the name, it is all about animals doing silly stuff and making us chuckle. So if you have been feeling a bit under the weather and need something to lift your spirits, you have come to the right place.

He is my lovely kitty that is rescued from my local cat care facility. I wanted to create some Japanese image with my kitty so that I made him jumping behind a hanging scroll using a cat toys. It reminds me that there is a famous Japanese story ‘Tiger is popping out folding screen’.

This competition is actually all about charity. And by doing this, the organization behind this competition donates $30,000 to three different charities that help with animal welfare. It is really a noble goal and we couldn’t be happier. This is what they had to say about their competition and how it all started in the first place.
Through the Comedy Pets, we want to promote positive awareness of animal welfare issues and celebrate the incredible and valuable contribution that pets can and do have on our lives. This is our mission and although it is a bold one, we want to bang the drum as loud as we can for animal welfare and make sure it is at the heart of what we do. Because behind the funny images and videos of the competition, there is a very serious and fundamental message to help, respect and care for our animals in the most humane way possible.
And every year as our competition gets a little bigger, the message is getting a little louder and we can help more animals. We are so proud to be a part of it and of course, as a Brucie bonus, very happy that we can put a smile on your face too!
