One should never rob hardworking people of their well-deserved pay.
In recent times this has started to happen quite frequently. People take services from other people and then try to rob them by getting them for free. This is so not the way because you are being unfair to the hard worker. You take their services which means you contacted them, it was your need. And if you don’t pay them after you have received those services, that’s just absurd.
This trend has increasingly been seen in mothers. Raising a child is not an easy job and they often take third-party services as support but when the time comes to pay, they just fraud the service provider.
In today’s story, you will be reading about a mother who didn’t want to pay the babysitter she hired, by agreeing on a payment initially, because her kids were really easy to take care of and she had a really good time with them.

The mother and the babysitter agreed on final payment of $16 per hour but when the time came, she wanted to pay the hard worker in ice cream and fun.

The mother asked for screenshots of the conversation they had on deciding the pay and the babysitter sent them to her right away. The mother was fully trying to fraud.

Children are the responsibility of their parents. If you hire someone to take care of that responsibility, they will never do it for fun, they will always do it for payment. If you think you will manage to convince them into being paid in fun instead of actual money, you are very wrong.
The mother didn’t want to get into any hassle and decided she could settle things with a $20 payment. The actual total that she was supposed to pay was $128. That’s a $108 robbery.

The mother went off on the babysitter. Why? Because she demand what she deserved. But the mom kept confidently saying that the task at hand was definitely not worth $128 because her kids were fun.
Instantly after sending her last message, the mother blocked the babysitter, ghosting her forever.
Not only did she get a free babysitting service by frauding the babysitter, but she also rudely insulted her and that’s not acceptable.

My heart aches to read this story. I really cannot believe how could she do this to the babysitter. And the fact that I am about to enter the corporate world and if this is how customers rob the service providers, my chances of creating a sustainable future are very low. This is demotivating and a message for everyone to be careful because such people exist and will continue to exist. The service providers will have to come up with a better, secure mechanism so they don’t get robbed because telling this robber “it is not a nice thing to do” will never work.
