The right to use a particular bathroom is a very controversial subject these days.
And while it is always fun to state your personal opinion about these things, that is all it is, an opinion, and everyone is allowed to have their opinion as long as they respect other people. However, we are not here to debate the larger issue. We are actually focusing on a story of a Father going to a woman’s bathroom for his daughter. He apparently did not want to go to a men’s one because they are gross and he felt uncomfortable with his daughter going to a men’s restroom.
Now while I can personally attest to woman’s bathrooms being gross as well, they are marginally cleaner than men’s. Don’t ask me how I know this but all the men’s restrooms I have ever seen have been grosser than the women’s which is quite a feat in my opinion. And that is exactly why this guy decided to go to a woman’s one. But as you can guess, when other women saw him there, they threatened to call the police on him.

We start off with some background information as to how they ended up in this position.
So he decided to take his daughter to the public restroom since his wife is a bit of a germaphobe.
But he goes to the women’s restroom since the men’s ones are usually a lot grosser in his opinion.
Everything was going well at first until a few women came in.
The woman was not happy with him being there and asked him to leave immediately.
And that is exactly what he did.
His wife on the other hand thinks he was in the wrong.
She also made a really good point.
And that is why he asked strangers to weigh in.
I honestly get where he is coming from and I do not know what to think. If I saw a man in a women’s bathroom, I would be a bit weirded out but would I really care if he seemed to be minding his own business or was in there with his kid? Not really but everyone is different. And his wife also has a point with the hijab thing as that would have been a disaster. I mean women usually take their sons to a women’s bathroom as well so it wouldn’t have been weird to take his daughter to a men’s restroom.
People were a bit confused as well.
People thought that he wasn’t particularly wrong.
But there were others who could understand the other side as well.
He explained himself a bit better in the comments as well.
A lot of people thought that both of them were right in their own areas.
But it would have been better if he had gone to the men’s.
Gender-neutral restrooms would stop all this from happening.
I personally don’t care either way but it depends on the person.
After all that bathroom talk, we all need some adorable dog tax!
