After everything that has happened on this planet so far, everything is a possibility. You can expect anything to happen anywhere because we have seen some really crazy sh*t happen over time that no one expected to happen. Something similar happened in the story, as well, that we got for you guys today.
Reddit user u/its710somewhere took it to the infamous subreddit “I Don’t Work Here Lady” who shared how once he went shopping at a supermarket and left it as their employee. OP said he was buying some tacos at the supermarket when an old lady requested he locates a product for her. He decided to be a kind human and offered to locate all the products on her shopping list for her. She got extremely happy and approached the floor manager and requested him to reward OP with a promotion or a raise. OP doesn’t even work there. And it happened. The person who came to the supermarket to grab a taco and groceries got hired and promoted there and then in front of the old lady.

2. OP was shopping at a supermarket that he frequently shops at and he knows it too well.
3. OP was busy selecting a taco at the store when he got approached by an old woman.
4. Let’s go through the dialogue they had.
5. SL requested OP to help her locate a product which he respectfully did and even grabbed and handed it to her.
6. OP, being a sweety, offered to find all the products on SL’s shopping list and fill her cart up…and he did it in just 10 minutes.
7. OP sees SL arguing at the express counter.
8. So he decided to go check what is up.
9. SL was arguing with Greg that OP gets a reward for helping her out.
10. Greg has no clue about any employee working at the supermarket who is big and has a red beard.
11. OP reaches the counter so he could tell the truth but he gets stopped in his tracks by Greg.
I think the supermarket is about to make the old lady really happy. Now I don’t know if the reward is going to be actual or just a play-along to make SL happy, it will certainly leave a positive mark on the supermarket’s reputation. After all, good customer service is all that matters to everyone; the customers and those who read the reviews online.

14. Greg promoted OP to the position of Assistant to the Regional Manager in front of SL.
15. The supermarket got ample praise from SL.
16. I absolutely love what they did there.
It is actually Greg who should get promoted. He made the old lady happy, he did what she asked him to do. That is all a customer wants.
