40 Pictures Of Unique Looking Pets That Won The Genetic Lottery

We should all embrace our uniqueness.

I know this is quite easy to say but hard to implement in your life. After all, we are rewarded for fitting in unless we really go out there and achieve something huge. However, even then, ‘different’ people were never appreciated in their own time. Now I am not saying that having a unique physical characteristic automatically means you are somehow better than others or in any way special but what I am trying to say is that we should always embrace our uniqueness whether it be physical or something else.

And the same thing applies when we talk about animals. I am sure you have already seen many dogs and cats with heterochromia. Many people even prize the animals that have heterochromia. I understand that it looks beautiful but it is weird to see animals with different colored eyes being sold for more just because of this physical characteristic. However, today we have more than just heterochromia and many other genetic conditions like albinism.

So just scroll below to see for yourself.

While I will always preach about accepting the weird quirks of your pets, that doesn’t mean that every genetic condition is cute. Many breeders choose to breed dogs or cats who have albinism just because they fetch a high price but the reality is that some of these genetic conditions can come with problems for the animals. So just because you think something is cute doesn’t mean that we as humans should promote it.
