Sibling relationships are a bit odd, aren’t they? Growing up together, you see each other through all sorts of life stages, and each stage brings a different kind of bond. Sometimes you wonder if they even like each other, but moments of love and compassion sneak through, making it all special yet complex. Parents tend to discourage older siblings from acting like parents to their younger counterparts. It usually leads to more trouble than good intentions. Best to let the parents handle the parenting.
Recently, a Redditor shared her frustration on the subreddit “Am I The A$$hole?” calling out her younger sister for constantly asking for more money from their parents to keep up with her wealthy friends.

NTA. She is at a very crucial age in her life. This is the age that decides your personality, attitude, and behavior for the remainder of your life. OP and her father need to do something about this. The mother is a lost case here, we know that so I don’t have any hopes from her. But OP needs to keep on with these sessions every now and then so her sister realizes soon that nothing comes for free.
I hope the little girl realizes her mistake because this is taking her in a very wrong direction.
