Amid her brother Jerry’s wedding preparations, OP, who had been close to him, discovered that she was not invited to the wedding but was still expected to contribute her time and effort to various pre-wedding events. In response to her departure, Jerry and Jessica engaged in disruptive behavior by banging on her apartment door and causing a disturbance, later escalating to an unannounced visit at her workplace. 1. OP says she and her brother Jerry were close for most of their lives and they lived in a very dysfunctional family
2. Jerry got engaged to Jessica recently and OP has been welcoming since she started dating her brother but she hasn’t reciprocated, and once the COVID restrictions were lifted OP hosted a getting to know you party to introduce her to the two families.
3. Jerry called OP and said that they were inviting all of their siblings to the wedding but they weren’t inviting OP, OP said she wouldn’t be making a fuss about it and it’s their wedding and they could do whatever they chose.

4. OP received a text from Jessica she invited OP at the last minute to attend the invitation-addressing party, and she was told to bring dessert OP was upset at the request as it was a last-minute invitation but she decided to make cupcakes and go there.
5. When OP arrived Jessica handed her a stack of announcements and gift registry cards for the people who weren’t invited to the wedding OP saw her name on the list of non-wedding invitees, and now she’s sure that she wasn’t invited.
