They mess up and fail to perform even the most basic tasks under severe panic. Anyone can get into a situation like the one in the above post and it can be anywhere, even at home. Just like many other subjects taught at school, training students on how to handle accidental situations is also very important. It would make a huge impact overall and situations like this one above would be handled in a much better and calmer way. Sometimes it is not easy for the firms to give it’s newly appointed employees hazard control training and just guiding the staff briefly is not enough. A hazard control subject at school would come in handy.
