Every one of us wished to be one of the Disney princesses and wished to spell magics like these beautiful women in the movies and to live in a world full of fantasies and making fairies our friends. We have grown up watching these stunning white princesses who are always singing along with their tiny fascinating creatures. However, we never focused on the reality that why there aren’t any black Disney princesses, with the exception of a few in the history of Disney?
Anyways, thank you to the team of creative and talented artists, which included hairstylist LaChanda Gatson and photographers Regis and Kahran from CreativeSoul Photography, who made our dream come true by putting in the time and effort to transform these Disney Princesses into something even more beautiful than they were before. They have imagined how these Disney icons would appear if they were born African, and the results are both beautiful and inspiring.
The idea behind this photography is to introduce “their own dash of style, culture, and swag.”. They explained: “The Disney character series was created by hairstylist LaChanda Gatson and child photographers CreativeSoul Photography,” Also, their answer about how this series came out was: “The goal is to inspire more girls around the world to start seeing themselves as regal princesses.”
They have been receiving an incredible response so far on this series. “The social media response has been amazing with currently over 75,000 re-shares on our Facebook post and several other pages,”
