Austrian Artist Creates Super Creepy Illustrations That Will Give You Nightmares

What if your nightmares come to life?

That is the theme that many artists want to create. They want to bring your darkest fears to the forefront so that you are forced to face them. And usually, horror-themed art can invoke many more emotions than any other type of art, which is always interesting. I mean, don’t you want a person to feel something when they look at your hard work? Every artist wants this. Also, the fact is that horrific pictures are always much more fun to create for many is just a bonus.

In movies, the creators can elicit fear with jumpscares or you can feel the tension building because of the great acting. However, in illustrations, all of that has to be converted into one picture. So that the whole story could be told by a single image. At least that is what the artist Stefan Koidl is trying to make and he has definitely succeeded. So we decided to gather some of his most nightmarish work so you can enjoy it to the fullest.
