Train Conductor Won’t Help A Customer With Their Seating Problems, Petty Revenge Ensues

booking a seat

Traveling by train can be quite inconvenient.

Even though I enjoy traveling by train, no one can deny how inconvenient it can be depending on the type of train. Even if you reserve a seat, you may find that it is already occupied. While this may not appear to be a big deal, some entitled people refuse to move even when told to do so by employees. It’s as if they deserve to be seated, despite the fact that they should have arrived earlier just to avoid having to stand. I understand that there is an unspoken rule about letting go of your seat if you see a woman or an older person, and while this may be the expected behavior, it should not be a mandatory gesture.

If you want to give up your seat, that is fine, but no one should be forced to do so. But that is exactly what happened to this person, who had their seat stolen by a stranger. They initially thought it was an error, but it quickly became clear that they weren’t going to move no matter who told them to. Not only that, but the train conductor was unhelpful, telling the poster of this story to find another seat. If there were any seats left, that could have been a viable option. As the title suggests, the poster of this story was not having it.

The window seats are also generally more expensive when it comes to trains.

If he really wanted to sit with his friends, he should have booked earlier.

How is it that he didn’t have any power to move him? Don’t they have internal security?

If the train conductor was going to be that way, the poster of this story just gave him the taste of his own medicine.

This is how it feels to throw their own words in their face.

This is the kind of petty vengeance that we all desire. But not everyone has the courage to confront a stranger, especially when the law is involved. I mean, the protagonist of this story could have gotten in trouble if the train conductor became enraged. However, it was partly his fault for not demanding the rude customer leave the seat. I can’t believe he didn’t kick out the entitled customer; most people would have done so.

I don’t think that it would be possible long after the fact.

I am surprised that the entitled guy didn’t get kicked out.

This is what I am thinking as well.
