Boyfriend Gets Called Entitled After He Offers His Aisle Seat To A Stranger To Sit With His Girlfriend

Travelling can be difficult.

When most people think of travelling, they envision luxurious flights, living it up in another country, and generally having a good time. However, reality is not always as good as your dreams. In many cases, the aeroplane seats are uncomfortable, there is little chance of getting the seat you want, and customs can be a hassle to get through not to mention the fact that when it comes to airline seats, you can become separated from your family and friends. You are more likely to end up in different aisles unless you book your seat much earlier. This isn’t always the case, but it is usually what happens.

At least, that’s what one Twitter user experienced. He was travelling with his partner, but they were unable to find a seat next to them. They actually ended up in the same row, but someone was sitting between them. That’s why he asked the person in the middle to take an aisle seat. I understand that many people prefer aisle seats, but that is not the case for everyone. Especially in this case, the stranger declined the offer because he appeared to be content with his seat. It’s his choice, but the Twitter user ended up posting about it on social media, and people had a lot to say about it.

Exactly! It isn’t as if they couldn’t be separated.

Basically, everyone had their own opinion.

It does seem like bad planning on his part.

But not everyone likes the aisle seat.

This person is quite correct.

A parent with a child is a different story.

Apparently, young children are the number one excuse to force people to do this.

If I were in the middle seat, I would have gladly accepted the offer, not because I like middle seats, but because I don’t want to come in between couples, which would be awkward. It would have been a different story if he had offered the window seat, but that is not the case here. I’m not sure what this stranger was thinking, but I don’t think anyone should hate him for it. Also, I don’t believe Zack was acting entitled. It just seems like a funny way to bring up his situation, and it’s not like he forced the guy to change seats. So I’m not sure what everyone in the comments is getting so heated about.

Now I am 100% on board with this.

That is actually very valid.

I was not aware of this.

He was once again called entitled.

I do think calling him entitled is jumping the gun a bit.

Twitter is a cesspool.

I would have to agree with Zack here.

We sure did learn a lot about people through this.
