It is always so easy to point fingers.

Berating the victim just because they could have left the person if they wanted to, Right? After all, what was stopping them? But onlookers never seem to think about the pain the person dealing with conflict is going through.

Life is not black and white ad things are never as simple as they seem. So we as humans should always listen to the whole story without judging anyone. And yet that rarely happens.

Even our legal system is rigged and never paints the true picture. And this Twitter user is tired of it. So she decided to share a heartbreaking story about her classmate who was in an abusive relationship.

It must have been scary for her to even approach a stranger.

He was clearly out of his mind.

People like these only like the feeling of control they have over others.

I can’t believe other people helped him in this situation.

Why would his friend do this?

So she finally called the police on him.

However, surprisingly enough she was the one who got arrested.

Even the police didn’t believe her.

Then what else are we supposed to do?

And it gets so much more worse than before.

Yes, she married that a**hole.

And now we know why. She was scared.

This is why perception is everything.

Being stuck in a situation like this does not make you weak.

Very much so.

We can’t understand it but we shouldn’t deny the pain it can cause.

When everyone says he’s perfect.

Thankfully she managed to get out. I wish her luck.

This is just one story out of millions of heartbreaking cases. And that doesn’t even include the ones that never get reported. We have to create a community where one isn’t so afraid to come out. Perhaps in time, we will reach that pinnacle.
