1. OP’s daughter hates mushroom and not only the taste of them it’s texture and smell makes her not stand them
2. OP’s mother-in-law lives with them and helps them by watching their daughter when she gets back from school moreover, she loves to cook so she ensures them that it would be no trouble for her to make dinner. OP and his husband work in the medical fields their schedule is unpredictable.
3. OP and her husband took a night off and went to dinner and MIL also went out for dinner with her friends unfortunately, Susie came crying to OP and her dad stating that she is sick and tired of being starved most nights and requested that if they can make her dinner instead of MIL
4. Susie just doesn’t like mushrooms and yet she was served every single dish that had mushrooms in it moreover, OP said these dishes weren’t made when they were around.
5. And when Susie refused to eat these dishes MIL told her that they “suit herself but she’s not getting any other food for the rest of the night” This made OP and her husband extremely upset as their daughter had to go to bed hungry
6. When they confronted MIL about this she started saying that Susie needs to grow up and get over this stupid hatred of mushrooms and when OP said she was starving all the time she replied it was tough love
7. OP said to her that she needed to get out of her house as she will not bear her directing her like that, she ended up leaving and saying mean things to her on the way out.
