Woman Calls Out Her Sister For Locking Her Kitten In A Drawer

Is it okay to lock your cat in a tight space?

Most people would say that it is not right and I would have to agree. While I do personally think that locking your cat in a room is not a particularly bad thing especially if the kitty is sued to it and if you are doing it for a little while but it depends on the situation. I mean I lock my cat at night in a room for him to sleep. But that is his room and it has everything he needs from toys to food and litter.

But I only do it because he makes a mess at night in other rooms and he is used to it and doesn’t feel bad. However, that isn’t right for every situation. And I would never lock a cat in a tight space even though my cat also loves to get in my drawers. Sure, there have been times when I have closed the drawers for a second to play peek-a-boo with him but that is it and this story doesn’t sound like that.

But you can form your own opinion by reading the story wholly for yourself.

It is just the title but I can already say that she isn’t in the wrong here.

She thinks that she did the right thing but she still wants to get a second opinion which is admirable.

Things were going well but when she found out what her sister was doing, she was none too happy.

To me, this doesn’t sound right. Not only is she neglecting her kitten but she is also locking up her cat. I understand not wanting the cat tog et outside but she can just as easily train the kitty to stay in a carrier or something of the sort. And what is wrong with letting the cat roam around in the first place. You can just close the door of the room you don’t want your cat to get in and everything will be fine.

People in the comments were appalled by how her sister treated the kitty.

And people had a lot of questions as well.

She tried to defend her sister.

But who forgets to feed their cat? Once is a mistake but this is too many times.

Apparently they did try using a feeder but that didn’t work out.

However, it doesn’t seem like her sister should have a cat.

The sister de snot understand and is being neglectful.

While that would be hilarious, it would be impossible.

Some people also gave good advise.

And it seems she just might suggest it to her sister but it doesn’t seem likely that her sister will listen.

Yes, it is time for puppy tax!

This little puppers name is Sampson and I have to say that he is quite photogenic. I mean who wouldn’t want to hug this little doggo?

What do you think about the sister and her cat? Do you think she is neglecting her kitty? Or is it just a mistake? And do you think it is okay for her to lock her cat in the drawer since the cat apparently likes it? What would you do in this situation if your sibling was doing something similar to their pet?
