In a quiet residential cul-de-sac, where neighbors are expected to coexist harmoniously, an unfortunate incident unfolded, leaving one resident fuming with anger and seeking justice. Meet our protagonist, whom we’ll refer to as OP, who experienced a hit-and-run accident that would trigger a chain of events leading to a powerful act of revenge.
Shortly after college, OP’s mother, a retired and disabled woman, enjoyed her peaceful life on a quiet cul-de-sac. With designated parking spaces for each house at the end of the street, parking should have been hassle-free. However, OP’s neighbor, Ivy, proved to be a nuisance with her poor parking skills. Every time OP visited their mother, Ivy’s car was parked so close that OP had to resort to parking on the curb.
Despite Ivy’s reckless parking, what truly infuriated OP were the frequent raucous parties hosted by their neighbor. These gatherings disrupted the tranquil neighborhood, leaving behind a trail of trash in OP’s mother’s yard. Adding to the frustration was the fact that during one of these parties, Ivy’s car collided with OP’s prized possession, a brand-new 2016 metallic ice blue Dodge Challenger Hellcat, lovingly maintained and cherished.

OP’s retired, disabled mom, who owns a house on a quiet cul-de-sac, experienced an incident involving designated parking spaces with house addresses painted on them.
OP frequently used their mom’s designated parking space to visit and help with various tasks, as their mom rarely left home and parked her car in the backyard.
OP’s neighbor Ivy’s poor parking habits consistently forced them to park on the curb, causing frustration due to Ivy’s disruptive parties and guests leaving trash in their mom’s yard.
OP’s mom had to make frequent police calls due to Ivy’s parties.
While having dinner at Mom’s, OP heard a loud crash and found their cherished three-week-old car, with less than 500 miles, severely damaged after Ivy’s older Honda Accord collided with it and fled the scene.
OP was furious and devastated after Ivy’s hit-and-run accident, taking immediate action by calling the police, filing an insurance claim, and arranging for car repairs. Despite attempts to confront Ivy for the damages owed, she avoided contact and resorted to disturbing actions.
OP sought revenge after noticing bruises on Ivy’s children and planned to act underhandedly at the next party. They had Mom take pictures of the children for their plan.
OP used a fake phone number to report Ivy’s party to the police, leading to Ivy and her boyfriend Bane’s arrest due to Bane’s outstanding warrants, along with charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
The story of OP’s encounter with their hit-and-run neighbor, Ivy, exemplifies a fundamental truth that actions have consequences. Ivy’s careless decision to flee the scene after colliding with OP’s car set off a chain of events that eventually led to her facing severe charges and imprisonment. As the events unfolded, the principle of cause and effect became evident. The choices we make, whether big or small, can have far-reaching implications. Whether it’s fulfilling responsibilities, treating others with respect, or taking ownership of our mistakes, understanding that actions have consequences can empower us to make more thoughtful and responsible choices in our own lives.
As a result of Mom anonymously providing photos of the children to the authorities, Ivy and Bane were charged not only with child abuse but also with additional severe charges related to the abuse of Ivy’s daughter.
