Cheating Student Thinks They Have Teacher Fooled, But They Fell Into Professor’s Trap

revenge on student

Cheating is never worthwhile.

Cheating in a report may appear to be a quick and easy solution to a difficult assignment, but the consequences far outweigh the potential benefits. Cheating not only undermines your own integrity and academic reputation, but it can also result in severe consequences, such as failing an assignment or course or even being expelled from school. I understand that it can be difficult to complete an assignment on time, but plagiarising someone else’s work is simply dishonest. Understanding the severe consequences of cheating underscores the importance of upholding academic integrity.

Academic integrity is essential for personal growth and development. By making an effort to complete assignments honestly, you not only improve your knowledge and skills but also demonstrate your commitment to ethical behaviour. However, this is something that few students realise at that age. That is why, when they are punished for their actions, they often believe that it is unfair. I know that’s what I thought when I did something dishonest in high school and got caught. When someone is caught cheating or using someone else’s work, students can face a variety of consequences, but in this case, the professor wanted to teach them a lesson in a completely unique way.

People always think they are the smartest in the room.

But they have to realise that there is always going to be someone better than you.

Before getting into the nitty-gritty, we need to understand a bit about coding.

The students also apparently think of the new professor as a naive guy.

However, things were going well for him at the new job.

Until it was time for him to grade assignments, he was unaware of the copy+pasting done by students.

He noticed that a few students had plagiarised their work.

They had done an awful job, and all the previous errors were still in there.

Not only that, but one of the students dared to tell a fake sob story.

This had the professor fuming with anger.

And that is when OP came up with a plan.

He gave them better grades than they deserved but still failed all of them.

It was a clever trap that he had set up to catch all the flies.

In his workplace, students are allowed to make a case for their work if they choose.

And he knew the cheaters would come running back.

After all, they thought they had gotten away with it.

Since this was the last exam, many of them were on vacation.

They wanted OP to do an online appointment, but he refused.

This is when the real revenge began.

He didn’t want it to be so cut and dry.

So he decided to teach the students a lesson that they would never forget.

They were probably regretting their actions by the end of the day.

The madlad had done it, and it was beautiful.

People make mistakes all the time, but it’s critical to learn from them and grow as people. So if the students had simply let it go when they received a failing grade, it would have been far better for them. I’m surprised they had the confidence to request a re-evaluation, knowing it wasn’t their work. Today, with most data stored online, it is easy for anyone to detect plagiarism.

They should’ve known better. I’m also impressed with how the original poster (OP) handled the student’s cheating. I am confident that they learned their lesson and will never do it again.

Some countries take a very extreme stance on cheating.

To be fair, it depends on what kind of exam or assignment you are cheating on.

It must have taken a lot of time for him to do this.

However, I think it was definitely worth it.

I’m not sure about the jail part.
