15 Women Confess What They Think Is The Worst Thing About Being A Man

There are a whole host of differences between men and women that cannot be properly communicated to the other party. It took women decades to try and communicate their problems to men, and while some argue that it’s because men simply weren’t listening, that’s hardly true. They just never understood. It’s hard to, because problems people have are usually their own and simple communication isn’t as easy as people make it sound.

It’s not just talking about your problems, it’s showing why it’s such a problem, and why it needs to be fixed. Why it needs to be corrected. And that rarely, if ever, happens without problems. So one redditor decided to use the internet to bridge the gap in communication to the best of their ability. With the question, “Women of Reddit, what do you think would be the worst thing about being a man?”, he received over 37.5 thousand responses.

There are a lot of people who have had bad experiences with teachers, but as a male teacher, even the slightest bit of vaguely questionable behaviour can get you in a lot of trouble. And it’s not exactly fair to expect someone not to do something that could qualify as “vaguely questionable”. A female student asking you to improve her grade and you relenting falls under that category. Teachers do that all the time, but suddenly, if a male teacher does it, it’s problematic.

When it comes to domestic abuse, men have the short end of the stick. They’ve always had that, because for the longest time, wife-on-husband domestic abuse wasn’t even recognised legally as domestic abuse. And now, when it is, the way it works is even if the male calls 911 over a domestic disturbance, he’s the one removed from the house, not the woman. Further, there are even stories of men being tried for domestic abuse when their partners broke their nails while hurting them. It’s awful.

#15 Public humiliation.
