Parents are not always right.
Some parents believe their children are the most wonderful children who have ever lived and should be treated as such for the rest of their lives. These types of parents are in desperate need of a jolt.
This Reddit AITA post is asking the strangers on the internet if an entitled mom had the audacity to presume it was appropriate for her children to play with a small girl’s bike without first asking permission. Also, this boy asked the Reddit users whether he is an ass*** after his mom scolded him for misbehaving with elders in the park.
We’ve all heard stories about parents scolding their own children while ignoring how elders treated these innocent souls. It’s perfectly acceptable to chastise your child or teach them the importance of respecting elders. However, when someone says something as rude as this lady in this post, it can have a negative impact on the children’s minds and for that, the parents should not scold the kids because of someone else rude behavior.

This brother decided to take his sister to the park on the new bicycle that his father had purchased for her.
We’re already smitten with this protective innocent brother. But the way this lady reacted to this kind boy was impolite.
It’s disgusting how this lady was acting with this kid as if he were the same age as her.
We’re not sure why this obnoxious lady is behaving so bizarrely with this boy.
So, when this brother told his mother about the incident, he expected her to laugh considering it as a joke, but he was mistaken. Mom scolded the boy for not respecting the elders.

You’ve probably heard a lot of stories about bad parenting on the internet, but this Reddit thread will make you wonder what it is about these parents that makes them believe their children are always right, and sometimes they are always wrong. In this AITA post, we have both examples of bad parenting, where one woman in the park believed that her children had full authority and audacity to use the personal belongings of others, and on the other hand, there was this mom of a boy who scolded her own son for misbehaving elders while ignoring how rude and unpleasant that woman in the park behaved with her son.
We have heard so many tales when parents punish their own children, completely ignoring the fact that their elders treated these helpless children with such malice. It is quite OK to reprimand your child or educate them on the importance of respecting elders. However, when someone says something extremely unpleasant, such as this lady, the children may have a bad mental impact as a result of this.
