1. OP used to work for a wealthy family as a babysitter they had two children and would pay OP 25$ per hour plus food and gas, and during summer they did not have set any time OP had to work off 20 hours per week
2. The dad told OP on Monday they would need her around 1P.M but he would have to double-check with her wife and would leave a text, on Monday OP forgot he told her that he would leave a text so at 12:55 he called her asking if she’s going to be late.
3. But when OP said that she thought she would come at 5P.M since she didn’t get any confirmation he said he needed he right now OP said she would be there in 25 minutes and apologized for the misunderstanding to which he replied it was not a misunderstanding these are my children.
4. When OP asked him if he wanted her to come now at 1:30 he said no and hung up then OP texted him offering that she could come at 5 PM but his reply was no you would be useless then again he called her at 5:10 PM
5. He asked OP on call that are you not gonna show up twice a day OP got confused at said you said you didn’t want me today and he replied show some proactiveness then OP said it’s unfair because you didn’t want me to come
6. He said he was getting crap service from OP and she shouldn’t be allowed to take care of plans let alone children moreover, he said a lot of means things to her.
7. OP gets a long letter delivered in which there was mentioned that OP is being fired and her pay for the next two weeks would be $5 due to child endangerment
8. OP turned off the phone and when she finally picked up the dad snapped at OP and called her an A-hole because they had to cancel a very important business trip to take care of their children
