Boss Would Not Pay Legal Wages, Employee Got The Tow Company Closed Forever With Just One Phone Call

Employers should stop being over-smart when it comes to wages because employees are smarter than them.

Some employers think that they can make employees work at a lower pay and employees would not go against them. They think that laws do not apply to them. Well, if you are thinking to do something like this, stop right there. After reading today’s story, you would never dare to think of messing with the wages of your employees. An employee who used to work for a towing company shared his experience on Reddit. OP’s boss used to tell them to stop at certain locations and wait for the best order. He would not let them roam around to find their order. One day, when OP was waiting in a parking lot, he started researching the laws related to his job. This was when he discovered that they were supposed to get paid hourly wages. OP did not talk about this to his boss. He found another job and decided to talk to his boss. He told his boss to pay him for all the time he was bound to wait at certain locations as per his orders. OP’s boss declined to pay him. OP took his check and left his job.
