‘Celebrity’ Refuses To Pay The Bill At A Restaurant ‘Cause She’s Famous, They Call The Police

Some celebrities think that they are entitled to be that rude and treat people in a way, let me tell you, that is the worst possible thing you can think of doing. This celebrity took their stardom to their head and completely disrespected the server. The worst thing is that this stardom given to these celebrities is because of the people they like to treat as someone below them, which is not only unethically but also morally incorrect to do so. The problem is that they do not even realize the harm they are doing because they think they can get away with everything just because they are a little famous. Well, being famous doesn’t give you the right to be a jerk.

This server thought that this celebrity was really rude as they kept ordering the server around and left without paying the bill. The worst case is that this celebrity was an influencer whose 15 minutes of fame had her head up in the clouds, so much so that she refused to pay. The chaos was a lot to handle that the police were also called.

A celebrity expert, Mike Sington was contacted to learn how staff would react upon meeting rude celebrities and how the fans should react. He explained how it is necessary to contact your manager as soon as you experience something similar to this situation. “It’s always best to stay professional at work, of course, and that includes trying to be pleasant. Having said that, no one deserves to be mistreated. If a celebrity, or anyone, is being especially rude, as a server I would step away and let my manager know,” Moreover, he told that “Any professional manager would intervene, to the point of even possibly asking the celebrity to leave. The celebrity knows everyone has a camera, and they probably don’t want that sort of scene recorded and posted.”

Let’s see what the server had to say!

Well, at least she was being treated like a celebrity

Apart from just being celebrities, these people are humans first. And should be treated like so. The same goes for the people who wait on us and bring us our food. There are some rules that apply to everybody when it comes to treating others but since we are talking about celebrities in general, here’s what Mike had to say about them;  “Never interact with a star while they’re actually dining at a restaurant. The worst thing you can do is interrupt their meal” Mike advised. He also stressed the fact that fans must approach the stars only when they are done with their food because interruption can cause rude and arrogant reactions! “An especially good time is if they’re just standing around waiting for the valet. Then, they’re likely to actually appreciate a fan encounter because it’s flattering and helps fill the time. A simple, ‘I really admire your work. Could I get a picture with you, please?’ is all you need. Keep it short, simple, and polite,” He nicely proposed.

Seems like she took all that support for granted.

Hey, here’s an idea. Why don’t you get behind the counter and make your food yourself?

The never-ending demands.

It wasn’t until the server came back and informed her that she needed to pay, she probably realized her high was over.

Mike explained how he usually met very good, outgoing, and friendly celebrities, “In my experience, the one constant I’ve noticed is the bigger the star, the nicer the celebrity. The established stars have it down and understand the importance of the celebrity/fan relationship. You usually only have a problem with the newer, up-and-coming stars. They at times don’t get it and may think they’re too good to interact with you. This attitude often backfires, and they realize if they want longevity, it’s actually not that hard to be nice.” He also added, “For some celebrities, in fact, I’d say most celebrities, being nice comes naturally. It doesn’t take any special effort, because it’s who they are as a person,” to clarify that fans are not generally that rude.

He also went over to address to the fans that it was quite alright to meet the celebrities as it not something to be intimidated by, “The majority are smart business people, and they realize their fans who watch their TV shows, stream their music, and buy tickets to movies and concerts, are paying their salaries. They want to be nice to you!” because, for them, their fans genuinely mean a lot. After all, they are where they are because of the people who love them.

She had her mind made up for not paying.

Didn’t know we still do the barter system. Why was money created in the first place, I wonder.

That made her furious!

She was definitely trying to outsmart them!

She did this to others as well!

This celebrity deserved it, she had been doing that to others as well and did not find this embarrassing at all, instead boasted about it like it does not mean anything. She had absolutely no manners but we are glad that the server showed her, her place. She was being obnoxiously rude to the waiter who was just trying to do his job and demanded impractical things and to top it all off, she was refusing to pay and leave, She really did have the guts I must add. Mike gave spot-on advice on how to deal with such customers and how to deal with such fans, and even for fans, he guided them on how to respectfully greet the celebrities who are actually in reality genuinely nice.

I genuinely loved how the server treated the celebrity after she was continuously being unapologetically arrogant. I would say, she had it coming. What did you think about this? If you were at the server’s place, what would you do? Let us know all about it in the comments section below.
