You often take steps way out of your reach when trying to impress your date.
Dating is a sweet thing, you get to go out with a person of interest and get to do some leisure-full things, have some food and talk to basically understand each other better. Now, naturally speaking people try to impress their dates and often do things that are not in their reach and then the whole factor of regret comes in and the relationship slowly starts to tumble.
Now when you go to restaurants and bars, You would often see people ordering so much food at the restaurant or ample of shots and drink at the bar. They tend to seem very generous as they often order free drinks to the whole bar or free food to a random table but when it comes to tipping that hardworking waiter or bartender, they would suddenly turn into that restricted, low budget, low mentality person and would just leave without paying it. If your restaurant bill goes beyond a certain amount, you are bound to pay a certain percentage of it as a tip and if you don’t, you are considered to be committing a criminal offense. But the good people at the food place often let it slide because ultimately they care about the reputation of their business and do not prefer creating a scene. So yeah, such crimes are often ignored for the greater good. But today we have a story where this crime was not ignored.
Redditor u/tamiraisredditing basically did what all waiters and bartenders had the urge of doing. He did not let the crime slide and took vengeance. Without further ado, let’s go through the story of how a really bad customer got dealt with rightfully by this champion of a server.

1. Look what a good date turns a customer into, you don’t get such generous and kind customers every day, perhaps this lucky waitress is in for a treat.
That is an amazing thing she is doing by not getting her hopes high just because she is getting treated so kindly, just gotta wait till the moment comes and then conclude on the generosity.
2. It wasn’t just any other dinner, it was a proper feast. The couple was ordering every quality, and expensive item there was on the menu like it was nothing.
Honestly, I would’ve loved to join them on the table.
3. The gentlemen didn’t let the lady pay and even tipped the waitress $100, that is some kindness the world is lacking.
My guy did not flinch at a $300 food bill, that is the level of financial strength I want to achieve.
4. OP had hit a jackpot, and so had the gentlemen. One had a successful date and the other got a $100 tip. But the story didn’t end there.
5. Holy Moly I did not see that coming. The guy returned without the date and took back 80% of the tip.
Well, well, well. There goes that impression right out of that bin. That is just so pathetic and rude of that person to just come in and retake what he just paid and that too with making sure that his date never gets to know about it.
6. The waitress reconfirmed the man’s demand and all of a sudden he became hostile.
My guy, you just paid $290 for a diner, a $100 is not going to hurt you as much as you are showing it.
Oh my god, things just took a really hot turn and I was not expecting that. I fully believed that man was proper gentlemen until he did that. I still do not understand why would $100 hurt him when they already paid $289 for a meal, that too very happily and voluntarily. Perhaps he had no money left in his account and came back to salvage what he could. I just hope the waitress teaches him a proper lesson because there is no space for such entitled people on this planet. You cannot rob another person’s right just because you can.

7. The waitress had no problem with her tip being robbed, the real issue was that the girl that guy was dating was in a very toxic relationship and probably had no idea about it.
Manipulators never succeed at their missions for long, they have to meet an end.
8. Uh ho, the waitress flipped and vengeance was coming running through the traffic this man’s way.
I’d suggest that man just run before it gets too late.

This is like how you would feel as a child when someone would take your pants off in front of the public. Pure embarrassment.

A classic trick in the book, denial and hoping they will take it. But this waitress wasn’t gonna.
11. He actually bent and filled out the new receipt accepting the fact that he had just asked to lower the tip from $100 to $20.
Why commit to something you cannot honor. Things people do to look cooler in front of their data.
12. Hopefully the woman understood what deep trouble she was getting herself into and made all the right decisions to get out of it while she still can.
