Animal comics? Count us in!
We all love cute animals and watching them engage in their day-to-day business is extremely exciting. On the other hand, we are always curious about them. We want to know them better and see the world from their perspective for once. However, it is impossible because animals are voiceless and can not communicate with us in our language. We have always wondered what our pets were trying to say to us. What goes on in their heads? So, we just keep assuming and guessing what they are trying to say. We always wished for a machine or secret animal understanding abilities so we could treat them better and give them what they deserve.
But wouldn’t it be fun if we could speak to them? A lot of people include animals in jokes for entertainment and to lighten up the mood. In today’s world, where depression has taken over the world, we need something that can cheer us up and make us roll on the floor laughing. Before the internet, people used to enjoy reading comics in newspapers and comic books. Today, people are specifically moving towards webcomics, as we all have access to the internet. Artist Cale who makes webcomics is quite popular these days. To him, animals are cute, innocent and diverse. His comics are usually 4-panelled, packed with rich dark humour. These comics have unexpected dark endings and a lot of pop culture references. Never have we ever seen the world from an animal’s point of view. It’s different and rather brutal.
