Daughter Refuses To Take Care Of The Family Dog, Mother Starts Calling Her Names

When there is a dog in the house, everyone in the house is expected to take care of it.

Having a family dog is a nice thing but you cannot expect everyone to take care of the dog. Dogs are adorable but not everyone would be ready to give them their time and schedule their routines according to your dog. A Reddit user shared that her mom adopted a dog six months back. The dog has become very anxious when he is alone because OP’s mother coddled him so much when he came to the house. OP takes care of the dog whenever her mom is out. This time, she told her to take care of the dog and wake up early in the morning for the dog but OP told her that she would wake up an hour later because she wants to rest. 2. After finishing Masters, OP moved to her mum’s house and she also pays rent. OP’s mum owns a dog that she got six months ago. OP’s mother has a long-term partner and both consider themselves mom and dad to the dog.

It seems like OP’s mother has control and anger issues. She calls her daughter names which is not acceptable. Sounds like they have a toxic relationship. OP should think of moving out otherwise this toxic behavior would continue.
