Walt Disney Studios has developed some of the most famous characters to appear on the big screen, both in animation and live-action. They have designed a number of Disney Princesses and loyal sidekicks who represent joy, beauty, and strength. However, for every hero, there is a terrible villain who represents hatred, greed, and fear. Some are more physically dangerous than others, while others are more brains than muscle. But they’re all valuable, scary personalities in the world of animated fairy tales, and they’ll get you if you’re not cautious!
Typically, when we think of a villain, we imagine someone who is both frightening and like a beast. However, because Disney is oriented for children, we don’t often perceive Disney villains in that perspective.
That is, until this artist decided it would be fun to make our favourite Disney villains even creepier than they are. Shawn Cross believes himself to be a dark artist. He is the genius behind these exceptional photos of Disney villains looking far creepier than they actually are. This provides people a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how these characters may seem in a real-life terrifying movie.
1. Ursula
This recreated sketch of Ursula, a semi-octopus monster, shows the darker and more lethal side of this villain. Firghtening the audience with his creepy skeleton face.
2. Granny Apples
I have always been afraid of old-age villains NGL. This one looks extra-scary once you stare in her demonic eyes. Would love to see this character in a movie
3. Cinderella Conjoined Twins
This redseigned concept of CInderella sisters shows the true self of these apparently beautiful sisters. This weird sketch depicts what was going inside them.
4. Dr. Faciliar
Dr. Faciliar appears to be someone with satanic dark powers and you better stay away from him at all cost.
5. Hades
This frightening character wearing a gown looks super menacing and not every hero can face him!
6. Maleficent
A renowned Disney villain, darkest of them all. You better stay away from her sleeping curse.
7. Te’Ka
Te’Ka, a creepy-looking version of Groot is a destructive lava demon who was once the peaceful island goddess Te Feti.
8. Frollo
Frollo isn’t a well-known villain, but this redesigned picture seems like the cover of a new horror film.
9. Jafar
Jafar looks scarier here than in Aladdin. The demons surrounding him turn out to be creepier than him.
10. Scar
The king of the jungle turned into a beast, what can be a more lethal combo? The evil in his eyes tell all about hi character and he must be featured in some real-life Disney film.
11. Cruella
I was expecting Cruella to be on this list, and I am not disappointed. The evilness emerging from this image of her fits her persona well.
12. Queen of Hearts
The attention to detail in this beautiful artwork is what makes it excellent. The Queen of Hearts appears considerably creepier in this version than in the movies.
These reimagined villains were giving us all the creep and scary vibes throughout this list. Shawn Coss did such an amazing job taking all the important details of the villains into consideration when making these images.
