Entitled Client Wants To Talk To The Supervisor, Got The Receptionist Switched For Taking Too Long Doing The Process

Some clients would not take the advice from the receptionist and would like to “talk to the supervisor”.

I never get why customers are so obsessed with talking to the managers or supervisors? Why do they think that they will get the best piece of advice from managers? Why do they think that managers would get the employee fired? A guy who used to work at a medical clinic as a receptionist shared his experience with an entitled client on Reddit. The lady came with 3 pages long exams. It is a long process so OP started it. The lady was on a call when OP was doing the first page.

When OP was on the second page, the lady started screaming at him for why he is taking too long. What is taking him so long etc. OP tried explaining to her why it is taking so long but she did not listen and asked him to call his supervisor. The supervisor came in and tried explaining the procedure again to the client. The lady asked the supervisor to substitute OP. The supervisor substituted him and now the procedure started again. When you go out to get something done, it is your responsibility to wait patiently and let the other person work on your procedure rather than talking loud at them and wasting your time. It is disrespectful to scream at the person who is already trying to do your thing for you. This person got the receptionist replaced which restarted her process again. She made herself wait for the next two hours. We are sure OP enjoyed watching her wait for the next two hours.

6. OP erased everything and canceled the request for medical insurance:

7. OP made her wait another two hours for the exams to be done again:

8. If the person who made the initial requests dies, all the work has to be redone.

9. A lot of people asked about how the system works so OP has explained:

10. A lot of people corrected OP for using contest instead of context since he asked for corrections.
